Frequently Asked Questions

What should we wear?

Please wear semi-formal / cocktail attire.

For men: suits or dress shirts, jackets and ties are optional.
For women: dresses, jumpsuits, or similar cocktail-style outfits.

As the ceremony is on grass, we ask for no stiletto heels.

We don’t have any specific colour requirements, but we ask guests to avoid white dresses. White shirts are absolutely fine.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue:

Cossars Vineyard

This means no travel between locations on the day.

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony begins at 11:30am.

Please arrive around 11am so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is parking available at the venue.

Where should we stay?

Hotel Give (city centre) – A great option if you’d like to stay in town, close to restaurants and nightlife.

Lincoln Motel (near the venue) – A convenient option if you’d prefer to stay closer to Cossars Vineyard.

Two Bedroom Unit – $254 per night (2–4 people)

Can I bring a plus one / are children invited?

When you RSVP, your invitation will include everyone we’ve named in your group.

We kindly ask that only those listed attend so we can plan seating and catering accordingly.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 17 June 2027 so we can finalise numbers, seating, and catering.

Do you have a gift registry?

We haven't created a gift registry as your presence at our wedding means the most to us.

We will have a polaroid guest book at the venue for messages, and a space for cards.

What is the food and drinks situation?

Food will be BBQ-style with a shared, relaxed vibe.

We won’t be offering menu choices, but we will cater for any dietary requirements — please let us know when you RSVP.

We will also have a limited bar available on the day.

What does the day look like?

We’re not big late-night party people, so we’ve planned a relaxed daytime celebration:

Ceremony → Cocktail hour (while we go off for photos) → Lunch & wedding cake → Chill afternoon with games, drinks, and hanging out.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

We’re hoping for an outdoor ceremony and celebration, but there is a covered area available if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Can I take photos?

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, so no photos during the ceremony itself.

We do however encourage photos before and after the ceremony.

We’ll also have a Polaroid guest book for instant photos and messages.

You’ll also be able to upload your photos to a shared album after the wedding (we recommend using Google Photos shared album for free, easy access).
